Fearless Award
I did a happy dance moments ago when I found out this ceremony image from Eileen & R. G.’s wedding in San Jose, CA won my first Fearless Award. Fearless Photographers is a directory of bold wedding photographers from around this planet striving to redefine conventional notions of wedding photography. And if you are a wedding photographer, they’re accepting new members.
Photographic competitions help perfect shooting ability. I have grown so much from by learning weaknesses from attending image judging competitions, for example. It took me several attempts to get one Fearless image awarded, but I persisted. My personal philosophy is to be the best I can be, excel at my photography, and give my clients 115% effort.
Kids aren’t much different than adults, especially when one has what the other wants, whether it be photo awards, cars, or candy in church. I couldn’t help turning my camera during mass to catch this moment of the boys being boys:
