The Dirkes Family {Minneapolis, MN}
One of my favorite families to photograph, introducing for the second time on this blog, the growing Dirkes family!!! Craig is also a photographer, which means extra pressure when it comes to experimenting with creative license … one of my favorite things to do. After getting a few “safe shots” out of the way, we created a few studio-style portraits with the PhaseOne medium format system and this simple lighting setup. And we had a little inspiration from Lion King along with a few meltdowns. But when you are photographing little ones you can’t pose, you just roll with life and enjoy the ride. Being fearless, of course.
