The Epic Boulder Farm Wedding of 2015

This Pastures of Plenty farm wedding in Boulder, Colorado served a double rainbow to celebrate Lauren & Matt’s farm wedding.

“Living in the moment” has taken me 15 years to figure out. I thought I figured it out in college.

Yet, my wedding formula now influenced by my pregnant wife, constitutes a whole new meaning. Which includes humor like:

Recipe 1. Robust, Foundational Planning Met with Vision, Purpose, and Solid Intent and Expense. At least a year in advance needed, perhaps advanced degree. Lots of patience. With vivacious drinks, organic food, live music. Check.

Recipe 2. Spur of Moment Toss-Ins. To include: “Bonfires, Hell Yeah!”, “A Second Photographer Would Rock” and “Why Not Decorate with Dozen Teddy Bears?” Emotional toasts, and plenty of DIY decor, too. Check.

Recipe 3. Fun Extras, to Celebrate El Niño. Like Flat Tire on Wedding Bus For Wedding Guests + Thunderstorm with Double Rainbows + The Year of The Yang + Kale. Garnish with fun, fresh, and real. Check.
