stephanie & quinn: engagement
This post sizzled so much it took down my host server for about 40 hours. Total true story. Good thing Purr Design had a killer fire extinguisher to distinguish.
Seriously, though, I’m looking forward to Stephanie & Quinn’s wedding next summer. Cute couple, indeed.
Photo Geek Note: “Never get complacent,” I remind myself as I am fearful of doing the same thing, over and over. As of late, I’ve been taking on a whole new way of doing things… and I’m pretty stoked about the results. From a client interaction perspective, not much has changed in the last few years. However, from a workflow and shooting perspective, being as efficient and creative as possible on each shoot has been a rewarding challenge. Shooting RAW, culling in Photo Mechanic, leveraging the power of Lightroom 3, and garnishing with a bit of Photoshop has proven, once again, there’s never a single button that can do the job right. How long has this process taken? At least a year of constant learning, workshop attending, portfolio critiques, client reviews, software and workflow experimentation, and personal reflection. The key? Keeping it simple and staying true to what I love has culminated in a solid sense of style and purpose which I am proud to share with you.

those are beautiful!!!! Still wish you could do our wedding but like i said when you did our engagement… maybe in a few years when he have something else to celebrate we can have you shoot us lol 3 more weeks til the big day! WOOT!
