What it Really Takes to be Creative (on location)

  1. Physically fit.
  2. Tremendous patience.
  3. Technical expertise.

If you are lackluster in anything these areas, weather it be a computer programmer, graphic designer, or wedding photographer, kicking your own ass in gear and set goals already. (Here’s mine). We all need to take stock in each other to ensure we’re constantly improving.

As my martial arts instructor once told me, there’s no such thing as plateauing. Either you’re getting better, or worse. Which is it and why?

This kid kicks high (my instructor, ATA Master Jody Horn on right):

Our feet smacked high-five during a jump spin kick during my Paragon Martial Arts testing for my first degree black belt in 2003. Totally unplanned, but cool.

Perhaps we’ll do the same for my 4th degree testing in 2011.
