Anna & Alex’s Album Design

Anna & Alex were married January 5, 2014 in Florida Keys. Their album design is complete and I’m excited to share it! Pride and effort pours into the effort. While this may be the most expensive book they’ll ever purchase, it will be a one-of-a-kind that will offer a lifetime of memories. That’s priceless.

Simple, clean, classic style, white background with a few black ones for contrast. What makes for a classic style? No overlapping images or borders along images, no selective color, or curly tendril text. Their album is a perfect way to tie in big images featuring creative portraits, real moments, and important details from their destination wedding weekend, complete with a rehearsal dinner toasts with vodka Anna’s parents brought from Kiev, and post-wedding activities like sipping champagne poolside, and falling in love with kayaking into the sunset.

The night before the wedding it rained and I like how the colors reflected but the water falling from the sky into the water. As I sat in the hot tub and admired the droplets splashing into the hot tub, I was inspired for ring shot (note the similar colors and circular shapes depicted):

My favorite spread featuring Anna after she kissed her Prince Charming:

View their wedding day story below. The completed album will be 9.5” x 13” in size when closed, about three times larger than they appear on your computer. To view the slideshow, click the “play” button below and wait for the slideshow to load. Note the black bars on the side won’t show on the album. Enjoy!
