Danielle & Parker {Colorado Engagement Session}
Niwot High School and sun-drenched Boulder served as sentimental photo locations for Danielle and Parker’s Colorado engagement session, complete with early fall foliage.
They met a decade ago, these high school sweethearts continue to demonstrate the power of love.
“She makes me feel like a superhero. The best decision I ever made was to turn around and talk to her at that football game in the stands 10 years ago. I’m the luckiest guy,” Parker says.
Rewind to Christmas Day at the base of the Flatirons in Boulder, he planned a scavenger hunt involving his family and their favorite TV shows… with a complete surprise at the end for all involved with included a resounding, “Yes!”
Yet, how did she know he was the one?
“He has always been my best friend, my confidant… really my everything. While we have both changed over the years, we changed together— and embraced each others’ change— which allowed us to be successful,” she said.
What do they look forward to the most about the wedding?
Danielle’s response: “I am super excited just to have our friends and family together in one place. Breckenridge, Colorado is one of my favorite mountain towns, it has such a great downtown scene with great restaurants for people to visit, as well as fun outdoor activities people can do.”
Says Parker, “I’m very excited to be able to say for the rest of our lives that we got married in such a beautiful place and venue and Breckenridge will be even more special for us.”
I’m excited to be apart of this journey, too, as Breckenridge was the first Colorado place that made me fall in with Colorado (The Dumber and Dumber scenes filmed there didn’t hurt either). I’ve enjoyed working with their family over the years, lighting up my subjects with their cool tools! And I just can’t wait to see Georgiana in her PURPLE flower girl outfit (I favor purple over pink, too)! Much love!
