sunset & streaker

this is my favorite time of year... the smell of fresh cut grass, blooms on the trees, warmer weather, and spring baseball. we visited our 2007 national league champs last night and we treated ourselves to the $10 seats at the rockies game last night (normally, we're seated with the $4 rock pile crowd). the $10 seats with a $6 beer we've found to be better than the $16 seats. and a secret tip: towards the end of the game, you can move closer to home plate in search of a better seat. we asked permission from one of the seating ushers. he said it was okay and we enjoyed the remaining innings in our new $70 seats with a clear conscious :)

the ambient light balanced nicely with the field lights in the top of the fifth.


another reason to have a camera in hand at all times: for that rare occasion when a female streaks across the field while being chased by the cops. the game stopped, the crowd roared, and she got a free escort to the paddy wagon.


while the game ended with a loss against the phillies, we had a relaxing time enjoying yet another cool thing we love about colorado: spring baseball.
